Seoul, South Korea – August 25, 2025 – Neowiz announced that Hello Seoul: Itaewon, a narrative-driven puzzle adventure currently in development by Jino Games, has won the “Best Game” award at the Indie Arena Booth Award Show held during Gamescom 2025 in Cologne, Germany.
The award ceremony, held on August 22 (local time), recognized outstanding indie titles across six categories, including Best Game, Unity, Game Maker, Best Music, and Best Booth.
Hello Seoul: Itaewon captivated judges with its post-apocalyptic setting, emotionally rich storytelling, and unique adventure-puzzle design, securing the festival’s top honor. The game is slated for release later this year, with a demo version currently available on Steam.
The title has already drawn industry attention before launch. At the Busan Indie Connect Festival (BIC) 2024, it won both the Grand Prix (Best Overall Game) and Best Art awards, marking it as one of the most anticipated Korean indie games.
Alongside the award, Neowiz showcased four indie titles at its dedicated Indie Arena Booth at Gamescom 2025 from August 20–24: Hello Seoul: Itaewon, Shape of Dreams, Kill the Shadow, and the globally acclaimed SANABI. The showcase highlighted Neowiz’s commitment to supporting innovative indie projects on the global stage.
