○ 156 Indie Games Submitted from February 17 to March 3
○ Competition Ratio Reaches Record-High 3.6:1
The Korea Indie Game Association announced on March 10 the successful conclusion of submissions for the Indie Game showcase “Indie Arcade,” a specialized indie exhibition brand within the 2025 PlayX4, the largest game exhibition in the metropolitan area.
From February 17 to March 3, the Indie Arcade at 2025 PlayX4 aimed to select approximately 40 indie games. During this period, a total of 156 uniquely creative indie games were applied, resulting in a competition ratio of 3.6 to 1, marking the highest ratio in the event’s history.
The submitted games underwent rigorous evaluation by active industry professionals, resulting in the final selection of 43 indie games. These selected games will be featured at the Indie Arcade booth during PlayX4, held at KINTEX, Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do, from May 22 to May 25.
The PlayX4 Indie Arcade has established itself as an annual platform offering indie game developers new opportunities and challenges. The Korea Indie Game Association will actively support developers, enabling them to showcase their creations and engage directly with gamers.
Further details can be found on Indieple Café, and selected indie games will have their information disclosed before the exhibition.
