NC is leading in revitalizing the gaming ecosystem through the global indie game contest ‘Indiecraft’ hosted by Seongnam City and organized by the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency and the Korea Mobile Game Association.
‘Indiecraft’ is a global game contest that started in 2017. It is operated to nurture developers from small and medium-sized domestic game companies and discover competitive indie games. This year, 326 indie game entries were registered, recording the most significant number of applications ever.
In addition to Indiecraft, NC allows small and medium-sized game companies to participate in major domestic and international game shows such as G-STAR, held in Busan, ▲ and the Busan Indie Connect Festival (BIC) ▲ Play Expo ▲ Taiwan Game Show. We are helping you.
Over the past eight years, with NC’s sponsorship, more than 100 startups and small and medium-sized game companies have been able to promote their games and attract investment at major game shows.
“NCSoft is working to develop an ecosystem where large, medium, and small game companies coexist,” said Jang Hyun-young, head of NC External Cooperation Center. “We will continue to do our best to discover and support promising indie games with global competitiveness.” He said.
