Smilegate announced that it will participate in ‘Steam Next Fest’ through the visual novel game ‘Love In Login’ that it is servicing.
‘Steam Next Fest’ is a preview event that allows real-time game streaming and pre-play of upcoming titles on the ESD game platform Steam from the 6th to the 13th (Korean time). ‘Steam Next Fest’ is held three times a year, and anyone with a Steam account can enjoy hundreds of trial games for free.
Smilegate is the official global distributor of the hit visual novel game ‘Love in Login’ (developer Onfire Games) and is participating in ‘Steam Next Fest’ for the first time. ‘Love in Login’ is a visual novel game based on Novelpia’s web novel ‘How about Sun-ae and the girl who lives with you?’, which received favorable reviews from readers for its excellent psychological depiction using figurative expressions and recorded 1.8 million views.
With the most challenging CG and story among domestic visual novels, it was first released in December 2022 through the Smilegate game platform Stove Store and received explosive love from users. It won the ‘2023 Game of the Year Award’, which is the highest honor of the 2023 Indie Game Awards ‘Stove Indie Awards’.
Through this ‘Steam Next Fest’, you can enjoy ‘Love In Login’ on Steam as well as on the stove. Smilegate is holding a ‘Love In Login’ wish list stretch goal event during the ‘Steam Next Fest’. Depending on the number of store page wish list registrations, ‘Steam Profile Image’ and ‘Trading Card’ will be released, and up to four types of special illustration DLC will be distributed free of charge to all buyers.
