The Korea Indie Game Association (Chairman Choi Hoon) announced on the 19th that it is constantly recruiting entries for the ‘ICC JEJU Indie Arcade Permanent Hall.’
The ICC JEJU Indie Arcade Permanent Hall is an experience space created by the Korea Indie Game Association using idle space within ICC JEJU to allow people to play popular indie games representing Korea to expand the exhibition business incorporating domestic game content. The Association signed an MOU with the Jeju International Convention Center (from now on referred to as ICC JEJU) on Friday, November 24th.
The ICC JEJU indie arcade permanent hall, free of charge, was prepared to provide an opportunity for indie game developers (teams) to communicate with the public and actively promote the novel, original, and excellent indie games they are developing and operating. Various promotional and marketing benefits include individual tables and demonstration devices for each exhibitor (team), game promotion, and press release distribution.
In addition, game content is changed every other month so that more indie game developers (teams) can participate in the exhibition, and an online demonstration certification event is held to encourage visitors’ participation.
The ICC JEJU Indie Recreation Room permanent exhibition hall is constantly recruiting works for exhibition and is scheduled to run for one year, starting in February or March 2024.
