The indie game platform ‘Stove Indie’ announced it would conduct a beta test of ‘Second Wave,’ a stylish animation MOBA game that Challengers Games (CEO Tamura Koji) developed. Any Stove Indie member can participate in the ‘Second Wave’ beta test from Friday, October 6th to Monday, October 16th.
‘Second Wave’ is a game that combines MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) style strategy with exciting FPS/TPS (1st/3rd person shooting) action. Through the alpha test held last June, the game has already formed a fan base with stylish activities and battles in which attractive characters use a variety of skills.
You can play 14 characters in this beta test, including five new characters. You play the game in cooperation with your teammates in various game modes such as occupation battle, three-way battle, and stone grab, using skills that reveal the individuality of each character, such as tanker, warrior, healer, wizard, and assassin. There is also a strategic element of securing goods by defeating enemies, contributing to the team, and setting equipment according to each game situation.
Stove Indie is opening a community and holding various events to commemorate the beta test of ‘Second Wave.’ During the beta test period, a ‘favorite character certification event,’ a ‘wishes for the developer’ event where you can freely write suggestions about the game, and a ‘survey event’ will be held. Participants will be awarded ‘Stove Points’ for use on the Stove platform through a drawing.
Meanwhile, ‘Second Wave’ released a new trailer to commemorate the beta test. ‘Second Wave,’ available at Stove Indie, is scheduled to be released in the first half of 2024, and more detailed information about the game can be found on the Stove Indie game page.
