Native app market One Store (CEO Jeon Dong-jin) announced that it had selected Action Square’s ‘Kingdom: Blood of the Royal Family’ as the best beta game for August.
‘Kingdom: Blood of the Royal Family’ is an action RPG using the IP of the Netflix original series ‘Kingdom.’ In this game, Action Square implemented the challenging manual action genre on mobile and presented the characteristics of the actual zombies with high-quality 3D graphics and the characters’ unique combat concepts. In particular, traditional Korean martial arts were applied to the movements of 3D surfaces to enhance the fun of hardcore action.
Action Square is a famous action game company that has developed various action games such as ‘Blade,’ ‘Blade of the Three Kingdoms,’ ‘Blade 2’, and ‘Anvil’ since its establishment in 2012. After The Kingdom was released on Netflix, it became a hot topic, causing a global ‘K-Zombie’ craze, so we plan to provide a differentiated action game that takes advantage of Korean style through ‘Kingdom: Blood of the Royal Family.’
Kim Yeon-jun, CEO of Action Square, said, “We were worried about how it would be evaluated as we first introduced a manual action game, which can be said to be a challenge for a mobile platform, in this beta test, but there were many positive reviews about the fun of controlling the action, so we were able to confirm its potential.” “As the direction for improvement has become clear through this test, we will work hard to make the game more complete until the official service.”
One Store is supporting the creation of high-quality content by developers and contributing to building a mobile game ecosystem through the ‘Excellent Mobile Beta Test’ support project. If selected as an excellent beta game, all test infrastructure costs incurred to apply to SK C&C’s Cloud Z and cloud infrastructure costs incurred in the month of game launch and the following month will be supported free of charge. More details can be found at the One Store Developer Center.
