The original IP-based escape room game of the same name developed by Leda Games, ‘Strangers from Hell: Unsuspected,’ draws attention by exceeding 4,941% of the target amount on the crowdfunding platform Tumblbug.
The game handles a story-based room escape material based on the original ‘Strangers from Hell,’ which recorded 800 million accumulated views on Naver Webtoon and ranked first in the horror/thriller category.
With the main background of the space in the original work, Gosiwon, gamers must experience a total of three episodes, discovering and solving hidden puzzles from a first-person perspective as if they were the main character of a webtoon, and uncovering the secrets of a suspicious Gosiwon one by one. The developer said he tried to experience the creepy tension, thrill, and fear felt in the original work from another angle.
The game introduced animations that reproduced cuts from the original webtoon to increase immersion, and voice actor Kim Shin-woo, who was in charge of the voice of Genshin Impact’s ‘Kazha,’ Hong Beom-gi, who was in charge of the voice of League of Legends ‘Thrash,’ and Hyeon-gyeong, the fullmetal alchemist, ‘Grid.’ Luxurious voice actors such as Sue’s voice actor and Kim Ki-hong’s voice actor of Dungeon & Fighter’ Gwi Prosecutor’ participate in dubbing and boast high perfection.
