Wild Forest Studio and Curve Games announced the official release of the healing fantasy farm simulation game ‘Dragon Shelter ‘ on PC Steam.
The player tends to an old farm inherited from their grandfather and interacts with villagers to revitalize the village that has lost its vibrancy. While engaging in farming, livestock raising, and resource gathering, the player can build relationships by listening to the residents’ stories, completing quests, or offering them food they have cooked themselves.
The power of dragon companions is added to the farm’s reconstruction. Dragons possessing fire, water, earth, and electric attributes each use their unique abilities to assist with various tasks, such as watering crops, burning weeds, and tending to the soil. As the player builds trust with the dragons, they can utilize their abilities throughout the farm and village.
Seasonal farming, festivals, and village activities have also been prepared. The main flow involves cultivating crops, expanding the farm with the help of dragons, enjoying cooking and crafting, and building bonds with the residents.

“The bond you build with dragons while farming, cooking, crafting, and exploring will provide a special and memorable experience,” said Rich Keane, Vice President of Publishing at Curve Games.
Immediately after launch, Steam user reviews got off to a positive start. As of September 25, 96% of the approximately 50 reviews were positive, and there were reports that it had risen to the top 3 on the Steam charts and surpassed 400 concurrent users.
While the dragon’s appearance and its ability to assist with farming and cooking were well-received, some users cited the lack of a map, inconvenient menus, and the abundance of early delivery requests as drawbacks. Subsequently, Steam user ratings are displayed as ‘Mostly Positive’ (74% positive) based on 135 reviews.
