Pre-registration for ‘KGDCon 2024’, a Korean game developer conference hosted by the Korea Indie Game Association, began on July 29.
This ‘KGDCon 2024 conference will be held from August 29th to 30th at the KINTEX exhibition hall in Ilsan, jointly with the ‘Content Universe 2024 event.
Key speakers include Hong Seong-min, a developer who worked as a technical manager at Finland’s Metacore Games, Markus Vahtola CMO of Fingersoft, Producer Ja-myeong Noh, GTA art director at Rockstar Games, Producer Gyu-sun Han of Krafton’s subsidiary Relu Games, and Seon-wook Kim, director of NVIDIA Game Taskbook. A large number of developers who have developed famous games, including indie developers active in Korea, and academic experts are expected to participate.
Anyone who is a game developer or interested in development can attend the lecture, and it is free. In addition, along with the conference, side events such as showcases and game jams will be held, and the event is designed as an event where speakers and visitors communicate and create together.
