Seoul, South Korea – September 17, 2025 – A unique indie game exhibition, Seoul Game Town, will take place on September 20 at All That Mind Mullae, embracing the slogan “A game show where every game is respected.”

Unlike traditional game expos that require competitive screening or genre restrictions, Seoul Game Town positions itself as an open festival where any developer with a game can exhibit.

According to the organizing committee, many indie creators struggle to find exhibition opportunities due to the high competition at major game shows. For example, PlayX4 Indie Arcade 2025 received 156 submissions for just 40 exhibition slots, while BIC 2024 selected 159 games out of 502 entries — leaving roughly 70% of applicants without a stage.

The organizers stated:
“We wanted to create a space where developers can showcase their games as they are, free from evaluation, focusing instead on respect, encounters, experimentation, and possibility.”

To that end, the event recruited 30 teams on a first-come, first-served basis, with no judging process, ensuring that anyone with a finished game could participate.

All 30 exhibition slots have now been filled, and the event is set to open this Saturday, September 20, running from 12 PM to 5 PM. Admission is priced at 12,000 KRW per person, available on-site.
