Gravity, a global game company, announced on the 17th that it had signed a global publishing contract for six PC and console titles.
With this contract, Gravity will globally distribute Pumpkim ‘ALTF42’, Pepperstones ‘Wetory,’ Play Mephisto Waltz’s Little Beings in the Abyss’, ‘Haru and the Strange World,’ alien abduction Operation ‘Pigromance,’ and Doosysoft’s Final Night’. Each will be introduced to the market. In addition, for the successful global service of each game, we plan to strategically develop business collaborations such as marketing, publicity, and operation.
First of all, ‘ALTF42’, a platformer game developed by Pumpkin, is a sequel to ‘ALTF4’, which has gained a lot of popularity worldwide, and has a higher level of difficulty than the previous one. The ALTF4 series, like its name, has an extreme level of difficulty that evokes the desire to force quit, and it is a game that can be cleared when a medieval knight character arrives at a destination somewhere without dying by using various items.
The roguelike genre ‘Wetory’ is a game developed by the developer Pepperstones and contains a story in which the main character sets out to recover the color that the villain stole. Each color of Wetory has its own characteristics, and it can be played in various ways by utilizing skill trees and color abilities that use each attack characteristic.
Developer Play Mephisto Waltz’s ‘Little Beings in the Abyss’ is a puzzle platformer game that creatively expresses the journey of Nia, a technician who fixes the world of the mind to comfort her wounded self. The emotional changes in the world of mind that change for each stage are expressed with excellent graphics, movement of the viewpoint, and screen division, further enhancing the concentration of the game. In addition, ‘A Day and a Strange World’ is an adventure genre game like modern art where various expressions and techniques that maximize aesthetic experience stand out. The game tells the story of Haru, the main character and cellist, purifying a strange world that has been cursed.
‘Pigromance’, which is attracting attention for its unique world view of the story of a butcher and pigs in a sausage factory, is a puzzle platformer genre game created by the developer Alien Abduction Operation. Pigromance is cleared by solving puzzle elements throughout the map, controlling the main character, Boar Mitlett, avoiding the butcher Cuttingman’s pursuit, and reaching the sow Porclet.
Lastly, ‘Final Night’ from developer Doosisoft is a 2D action RPG genre that features TRPG-style party-based play. You can select 4 out of 9 classes and acquire equipment by forming a party, clearing stages, and hunting giant bosses. It is evaluated that it has saved the fun of operating with a belt scroll action and a simple command system.
“We are very pleased to be able to publish excellent games from several domestic developers with originality and game quality through this contract,” said Gravity Business Team Leader Jun Yoo. We will do our best to record good results in the global market.”
Meanwhile, the official launch schedule for the six titles under the publishing contract will be released later.
