Unity Korea (CEO Kim In-sook, hereinafter referred to as Unity) will hold ‘UNITY GAME JAM 2022’, a domestic creator support event, on November 25 (Friday).
Unity Game Jam 2022 is an event where game designers, programmers, and artists can collaborate as a team to develop creative Unity engine projects within a fixed time.
This event will be held for 2 nights and 3 days by recruiting 30 participants, including 6 game designers, 12 programmers, and 12 artists, targeting creators interested in game development. Although it is the first season, more than 500 applicants have gathered since the recruitment announcement, and it is gaining a lot of attention.
Special benefits that can only be enjoyed at Unity Game Jam 2022 are also prepared. In addition to payment of Unity Asset Store subscriptions, where various resources necessary for game development are traded and distributed, the Unity Evangelist and Tech Engineer Team provide technical consulting and vivid networking opportunities between developers. Along with this, we plan to provide lodging and various programs so that participants can focus on game development in a comfortable and free atmosphere.
Kim In-sook, CEO of Unity Korea, said, “We planned the Unity Game Jam to provide opportunities for Unity creators to demonstrate their outstanding development capabilities fully.” We look forward to the development of original games.”
Unity Korea Game Jam 2022 will be held at Unakchae Hanok Village in Gapyeong from the 25th to the 27th, and more details can be found on the official website.
