The Busan Indie Connect Festival Organizing Committee (Chairman Seo Tae-geon) announced on the 4th that it would operate the ‘G-Star X BIC Showcase 2022’ hall at the 2nd Exhibition Hall of BEXCO.

‘G-Star X BIC Showcase 2022’ will be held for 4 days from November 17th to 20th, and 40 excellent indie games from home and abroad will participate. In particular, all indie game developers, including overseas, will participate in the exhibition and communicate with the audience.

This showcase will be based on the ‘GBTI (Gambiti I)’ test, which was well-received by both developers and visitors at this year’s BIC Festival. The GBTI test is conducted in a format where the most suitable type is recommended for one’s taste by answering simple questions related to the game.

In addition, game personal colors for each GBTI type will be selected to add fun, and keywords for each game selected by the developers will be expressed with hashtags at each booth so that even visitors who are new to the game can understand the game at a glance.

For booth visitors, various pre-events and field events, such as photo boxes and stamp rallies, will also be held online and offline. In particular, ‘John,’ a virtual influencer and mascot of BIC who appeared at the BIC Festival this year and was loved by many visitors, will also visit the showcase to hold a special event.

Tae-Gon Seo, chairman of the Busan Indie Connect Festival organizing committee, said, “I think it is very meaningful to be able to provide an exhibition opportunity to excellent indie games at home and abroad by participating in G-Star. We are preparing various plans so that you can fully enjoy the charm of its own, so please give it a lot of interest.”
