Com2uS (CEO Song Jae-jun, Lee Joo-hwan) has released an infographic containing the overseas performance indicators of the global hit ‘Summoners War: Arena in the Sky (hereinafter Summoners War)’.

‘Summoners War’ started its overseas service for global users in June following its domestic launch in April 2014. In Korea, it attracted great attention as a differentiating factor using monster collection and combination strategies, and it caused an even more explosive response in the global market. ‘Summoners War’, which celebrated its 8th anniversary this year, recently surpassed 3 trillion won in cumulative sales.

The cumulative overseas sales of ‘Summoners War’ account for about 90% of the total. In particular, it is notable that the game is loved all over the world, not in a single country or on some continents. Looking at the proportion of sales by overseas region, the ‘America’ region accounted for about 32% and ‘Europe’ accounted for about 21%, accounting for more than half of the total sales in only two regions.

In ‘Summoners War’, where the collection and combination of various monsters is one of the key elements of play, the number of monsters that have been summoned since the service was analyzed to be about 67.6 billion. By overseas server, the most monsters were summoned with about 25.4 billion in Asia excluding Korea, with about 22.2 billion in North America and 15 billion in Europe.

Information comparing overseas sales with domestic representative export products was also introduced. The cumulative overseas sales of ‘Summoners War’ are about 2.71 trillion won, which is about 2.7 million smartphones, about 2010 million cosmetics, and a whopping 2.15 billion pieces of instant noodles.

Com2uS plans to continue these overseas achievements by updating various contents in ‘Summoners War’ and continuing the ‘Summoners War World Arena Championship (SWC)’, a global e-sports competition. Recently, it has been introducing a variety of new games based on a worldview spanning 150 years, and is planning to expand it into various contents such as light novels, webtoons, comics, and animations.
