Inklunati, an ink-based turn-based strategy game developed by Yaja Games and published by Daedalic Entertainment, won the ‘Best Indie Game’ and ‘Most Original Game Category’ at the Gamescom Awards 2022, achieving two gold medals.
In ‘Inclunati’, gamers have to lead battles in the book’s 2D battlefield using mythical animals, half-humans, and half-beasts. Gather new creatures and devise strategies to win battles against opponents like medieval legend Dante Alighierina, Avatar of Death.
The game’s unique art style, quirky humor, and medieval motifs were well-received by visitors to the indie arena and B2B booths, giving Yaja Games and Daedalic Entertainment two awards.
‘Inclunati’ will be released on the PC version through Steam Early Access this winter, the Xbox version through the Xbox game preview, and the Nintendo Switch version will be added to the official release.
