The 2026 NDC, marking its 19th year, will be held for three days from June 16 (Tue) to June 18 (Thu) at the Nexon headquarters in Pangyo, Seongnam, and the surrounding area. It is open to not only industry professionals but also anyone interested in the game industry, and registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis by date through the official NDC website from May 19 to 21.
This year’s NDC will feature a total of 51 presentation sessions covering the entire spectrum of game development, from planning to production, operations, and programming. Executives and staff from major domestic and international game companies and IT firms, including developers affiliated with Nexon Company, Krafton, Roblox, NC AI, Google DeepMind, and Snowflake, will participate as speakers. Among them, Embark Studios, the developer of the global hit ‘Ark Raiders,’ will participate in three lectures to share development experiences across various fields, such as data and art, as well as the AI and machine learning technologies applied within the game.
In particular, lectures in the AI field have been significantly expanded this year, focusing on the intensive sharing of the latest case studies, practical know-how, and experiences regarding the application of artificial intelligence to game development. In addition, eight dialogue-style lectures featuring industry experts exchanging opinions on various topics have been prepared to deliver even deeper insights.
Key panel sessions scheduled include “Developing Different Games Simultaneously” by Nexon Games CEO Park Yong-hyun and Game Generation Editor-in-Chief Lee Kyung-hyuk; “Nexon and Krafton’s AX Journey” by Nexon Group Leader Kang Deok-won, Krafton VP Lim Kyung-young, and Kyung Hee University Professor Kim Sang-kyun; and “Making the Games I Wanted to Play” by Nexon Games Division Head Kim Yong-ha, Project Moon Representative Kim Ji-hoon, and Thisisgame Editor-in-Chief Jung Woo-chul. In addition, panel discussions covering the entire industry, including data, sound, and the game business, will be held.
In addition to lectures, various supplementary programs will be prepared during the event. First, an art exhibition will be held at the Nexon headquarters, showcasing over 150 pieces of 2D and 3D game artwork and game sounds, and will be open to the public. In the outdoor event zone, mini-games utilizing Nexon’s representative IPs, various experience booths, and merchandise giveaway events will be operated.
Launched in 2007, NDC is the largest game development knowledge-sharing conference in Korea, marking its 19th edition this year. It has extensively covered the latest trends and technological know-how in the game industry every year. Further details regarding the 2026 NDC can be found on the official website.
