- The Hero: Libo, a star student from the Magic Tower who specializes in rapid XP gain and level-up acceleration.
- The Content: A new stage, “Magic Spring,” and a chilling new companion, “Dahlia,” the Death Mage.
- The Dev: Mojo Games, a one-person powerhouse led by CEO Oh Hyun-jin.
- The Expansion: Following its successful Stove launch, the game hits Steam on March 27, 2026.
Just three weeks after its official launch, the South Korean solo-indie sensation Flower Survivors is already expanding. Mojo Games has officially released the 1.1.0 update, introducing the game’s first DLC character, Libo, alongside a new water-themed stage and menacing boss.
Meet Libo: The Fast-Tracking Mage
Libo isn’t your average sorcerer. As a top-tier student of the Magic Tower, his entire kit is designed to break the “Bullet Heaven” progression curve:
- Passive Buffs: Gains a +15% XP acquisition rate and +0.5% Skill Acceleration for every level gained.
- The “Study” Talent: A unique talent that not only boosts experience but also systematically weakens enemies’ defense and health as Libo grows stronger.
- Late-Game Scaling: The more Libo levels up, the more unstoppable he becomes, making him the perfect pick for high-difficulty runs.
New Frontiers: The Magic Spring
The 1.1.0 update takes players to the Magic Spring of Solvania, a once-beautiful sanctuary now overrun by criminal Warlocks.
- Lore: Warlocks have been conducting reckless experiments, driving local water spirits into a blind rage.
- The Boss: You’ll face Kelika, a renegade Warlock exiled for her dangerous research into high-pressure water magic.
- New Allies: Joining the fray is Dahlia, a grim Death Mage who manipulates the life force of her enemies. The developer also teased Nikki, a priestess of the God of Sorrow, coming in the 1.1.2 patch.
The One-Man Army: Mojo Games’ Rapid Pace
CEO Oh Hyun-jin is proving that being a solo developer is no barrier to rapid content delivery. By launching a full DLC and a massive balance patch within 21 days of the STOVE release, Mojo Games is building strong momentum for its upcoming global debut.
“My goal is to evolve the ‘Flower’ universe into a sprawling open-world experience,” Oh shared in a recent interview. For now, he is focused on refining the “Bullet Heaven” loop that has already charmed K-indie fans.
