Global indie game publisher Devolver Digital announced that it has officially released the new game ‘Baby Steps’, co-developed by Gabe Kurzilo, Maxi Bock, and Bennett Fodie, on PC and PlayStation 5 platforms on September 24th (Korean time).

“Baby Steps” tells the story of Nate, an unemployed man with nothing. Living a life devoid of hope, he discovers a previously unknown ability to walk. However, standing upright is no easy feat.

Gamers will explore a fog-shrouded world step by step, experiencing a unique human connection Nate never imagined. Climb serene mountains, take in the surrounding landscapes through unique physics-based gameplay, interact with local animals, and struggle to find meaning in a futile life.

Baby Steps’ greatest appeal lies in its realistic, physics-based walking simulation. Players must directly manipulate Nate’s body to take each step, transforming even the simple act of walking into a core challenge.

The game features a dynamic soundtrack consisting of 420 beats and moods, which change based on the player’s progress, making the world come alive.

The expedition stage is a massive mountain, and players can tackle the summit at their own pace, or at a slower pace. This demonstrates the game’s unique philosophy, which places value on the leisurely pace itself.

In addition, a clothing contamination system that gradually changes during the play process is applied, realistically reflecting the traces of the character’s journey.

The new game, Baby Steps, is currently available for purchase on Steam and PS5 for 21,500 won. The game supports Korean, and more information can be found on the official website ( babystepsgame.com ) and through the official Devolver Digital Korea X (Devolverkr).
