Wonder People announced that it will begin the global closed beta test (CBT) of its self-developed hero battle royale shooting game ‘Super People’ on June 19th.
This test will be held for 8 days until 10:00 AM on June 27th (based on Korean time), and anyone can participate by applying on Steam, with no limit on the number of people.
‘Super People’, which made a surprise return in May after its service ended in 2023, has greatly enhanced the strategy and immersion of battles by combining PvE content with the existing battle royale genre. In particular, users can experience more advanced PvP and PvE together, including a new mode where they obtain gold and equipment by defeating boss monsters.
The new content includes temporary ability enhancement effects, and the altar and supply system, which can be used as variables to change the situation, have been adjusted to take strategic elements into account.
The ‘Super People’ development team plans to improve the overall gameplay by reflecting community feedback. For example, a system that allows users to receive help from other users using the jury to prevent cheating, an onboarding system for new users, and a complete readjustment of character and weapon balance have been implemented.
Superpeople Director Heo Min said, “Users’ requests, passion, and trust led to the game’s rebirth,” and “We approached development with the determination to provide a new gameplay experience, not a simple update.”
This CBT is freely available on Steam, and will transition to Early Access after the test ends. Wonder People plans to actively collect user feedback during the CBT period and deliver future update news through the Steam community.
