Neowiz (Co-CEOs Seung-Chul Kim and Tae-geun Bae) announced on the 13th that it had signed a publishing contract for the MOBA roguelike action game ‘Shape of Dreams’ currently in development by ‘Lizard Smoothie.’
‘The Shape of Dreams’ is a PC game that combines the MOBA system with the roguelike action genre, and tells the story of heroes overcoming trials in ‘Yeoul’, a world between dreams and reality.
Gamers can edit the memories of their heroes to create their characters and can play alone or with up to four people in a cooperative manner. It features fast-paced gameplay and refreshing action and offers a variety of content, including randomly generated maps, missions, and hidden quests.
‘Shape of Dreams’, currently in development by indie game developer ‘Lizard Smoothie’, is a work that has been garnering anticipation even before its release, with over 300,000 gamers enjoying the game within two months of releasing a prologue version containing the first half of the official build on ‘Steam’ last November, receiving ‘overwhelmingly positive’ reviews.
In February, we will participate in the ‘Next Fest’ event hosted by ‘Steam’ to show our appreciation for the support of our users and present an updated demo version. We plan to proceed with development with the goal of an official release within the year.
Neowiz joined with Lizard Smoothie after positively evaluating the game’s unique genre characteristics of combining MOBA and roguelike action, its exhilarating roguelike action, and the success of the prologue version.

Meanwhile, ‘Lizard Smoothie’ is a game developer founded in January 2023. ‘Shape of Dreams’ is their first developed work. It has won several domestic awards, including winning three awards in the Rookie category of ‘Action’, ‘Art’, and ‘Rising Star’ at the ‘Busan Indie Connect Festival 2024’.
