- Tactics and exploration in a medieval pixel fantasy… Enhanced quality with new characters and multilingual support
Webzen (CEO Kim Tae-young) announced that it will officially release the turn-based strategy RPG “Memories: Forsaken by Light,” developed by the domestic indie game studio Black Anchor (CEO Jeong Geuk-min), on April 28.
The game has undergone a process of refining its gameplay for over two years since its release in October 2023 on Steam and the Epic Games Store under the previous name ‘Lemore’.
We actively incorporated feedback from early play participants to make improvements to the entire game, ranging from the game worldview to combat and development systems, and after changing the game name to ‘Memories’ in February 2026, we began preparing for the official launch.
‘Memories’ is a game that pursues the inherent fun of a strategic RPG that emphasizes meticulous tactics. Set in a medieval fantasy world realized with unique pixel graphics, players embark on an expedition to restore the ‘Memories,’ which have lost their mysterious light.
Players can enjoy the fun of survival and exploration by using various tactics to make their way through within limited rules. They can cultivate their own expedition team combining various skills and weapons to explore over 80 regions.
This official release version introduces a main quest with significantly expanded content compared to Early Access, as well as four new characters with diverse tactical characteristics. Additionally, to cater to global gamers of the strategy RPG genre, which boasts a strong fan base, it supports eight languages, including English, Chinese, and French.
