From now on, NCsoft (co-CEOs Taek-Jin Kim and Byung-Moo Park) will support game startup booths at the international game exhibition ‘G-Star 2024’, which opens at BEXCO in Busan on the 14th. It has been sponsored for eight consecutive years since 2017.
NC has continuously supported startups’ participation in G-STAR to develop the Korean game industry and promote mutual prosperity. This year, the startups participating in G-STAR with NC’s support are Superjoy, Ozzy, Olaf Games, and 36 Liters. NC will set up a ‘Startup with NC’ booth in the G-STAR BTB Hall. Each startup can exhibit games, hold business meetings, and make investment proposals.
In addition to G-STAR, NC also provides startups with opportunities to exhibit at major domestic and international game shows such as the Busan Indie Connect Festival (BIC), Play Expo, and Taiwan Game Show.
NCsoft’s Jang Hyun-young, Senior Vice President of External Cooperation, said, “NCsoft is taking the lead in providing opportunities to startups for the mutual growth of the gaming industry,” and added, “We will continue to work to increase the potential for the Korean gaming industry to develop further.”
