The international game exhibition ‘G-Star 2023’ has concluded its four-day journey.

In particular, the BTC content that general visitors can experience expanded to the BEXCO exhibition hall (1st floor of Exhibition Halls 1 and 2) and various spaces such as outdoors and convention halls, providing more events and attractions.

As ‘G-STAR 2023’ was operated with a focus on managing density (number of people accommodated simultaneously) as last year, the number of visitors was estimated based on the number of people indoors and outdoors driven over four days rather than by day. As a result, it is understood that ‘G-Star 2023’ was visited by approximately 197,000 people over four days.

The BTB Hall, located on the 3rd floor of BEXCO’s 2nd exhibition hall, was held offline and online for three days, from Thursday, November 16th until Saturday, November 18th. The BTB hall, where the booth size was expanded compared to the previous year (847 booths in 2022, 896 booths in 2023), had 1,973 people register on the first day, 316 people on the second day, and 28 people on the third day, and paid buyers who visited G-Star in person for business consultation. It was counted as 2,317 people (2,213 in ’22).

In particular, the ‘G-Star Indie Showcase Powered by Stove Indie’ was held simultaneously with a booth set up in the BTC Hall in Exhibition Hall 2 and an online broadcast on G-Star TV during the 4-day event period, and the on-site booth hosted about two people, including general visitors and BTB buyers, for four days. Over 10,000 people visited.

A business consultation program was also provided on-site, and professional and practical support was provided for indie exhibitors, with many Smilegate and industry officials visiting to provide feedback. The ‘G-Star Indie Awards’ was held on Sunday the 19th, and 12 works in each field received awards, including ‘V.E.D.A by Tripearl Games and ‘Kill the Crows‘ by 5min Lab.
