The G-Star Organizing Committee announced that the international game exhibition ‘G-Star 2022’, scheduled to be held on November 17th, will be the first year of normal holding as before the outbreak of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), and the offline exhibition will be expanded.
The organizing committee said that cultural and sports events such as exhibitions and performances are rapidly normalizing, and that the social distancing rules for exhibitions and expositions of the ‘1st reorganization for the continuation of the gradual recovery of daily life’, which took effect on March 1, have been greatly reduced. It was decided after comprehensively reviewing the circumstances that could be alleviated.
Accordingly, starting with ‘G-Star 2022’, uncertainty over whether to participate in the exhibition will decrease, and the participation policy will be revised so that both the exhibitor and G-Star can start preparing for the event early. The ‘on-site registration’ stage has been added to the existing two-step participation application structure of ‘early registration’ and ‘general registration’, so you can apply for participation in ‘G-Star 2023’ at the BEXCO on-site office where ‘G-Star 2022’ will be held. .
Therefore, G-Star will proceed in three stages, ‘on-site reception’, ‘early reception’, and ‘general reception’ depending on the application period. Under the name of ‘Bird’, we will start accepting applications for ‘G-Star 2022’ from 2pm on Monday, April 4, 2022.
In addition, ‘G-Star 2022’ decided to expand the BTC exhibition space according to the offline completely normalization operation plan. The ‘BTC-BTB Hybrid Zone’, which was introduced in the BTC Pavilion (Exhibition 1) as a pilot in ‘G-Star 2021’, will be expanded and operated separately in the 2nd exhibition hall. It aims to provide more attractions and experiences to general visitors, and the detailed location and area will be decided according to the reception status and application size.
At the same time, the organizing committee plans to reorganize the participation policy further, and aims to improve the quality of ‘G-Star’, which will be normalized after Corona 19. The priority is to improve the exhibition environment, expand convenience facilities, and expand additional events and related programs.
Meanwhile, ‘G-Star 2022’, hosted by the Korea Game Industry Association (K-GAMES) and co-hosted by the G-Star Organizing Committee and the Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency, will be held for 4 days from November 17 (Thu) to 20 (Sun). The pilot application for ‘Super Early Bird’ will start from April 4 (Mon).
