Netmarble Cultural Foundation (Chairman Bang Jun-hyeok) announced that they have started the regional qualifiers for the ‘2022 National E-Festival for Students with Disabilities’ hosted by the National Institute of Special Education (Director Han-Woo Lee) and Korea Creative Content Agency (Director Hyun-Rae Cho) and sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism 14 work said
The ‘National E-Festival for Students with Disabilities’ has been held for 14 years since 2009 to enhance the self-esteem and sense of achievement of students with disabilities by utilizing the excellent functionality of games, as well as to improve information technology and establish a healthy leisure culture.
This year’s ‘National e-Festival for Students with Disabilities’ will be held in the preliminary round, final round, and final round in order to block the spread of COVID-19 and make the event safer.
From June to July, each 17 metropolitan and provincial education offices across the country competed in information contests in 16 sports, including robot coding, and 9 sports including ‘Everyone’s Marvel (mobile)’ and ‘Magumagu Remaster (PC)’. E-sports competitions are held online to select finalists. In the case of e-sports competitions, teams are organized in the form of individual exhibitions for students with disabilities and integration of students with disabilities and non-disabled students.
The finals and finals will be held on September 6-7 for those who have passed the preliminary round. The location will be confirmed later.
