“Ghost Hunting Journal,” an anime-style supernatural adventure game that is creating a buzz on social media, is once again capturing the attention of fans by announcing an expansion demo update on April 10.

Chinese indie game developer Spicy Games and publisher Okasan’s Recipe officially announced via the Steam community on April 8 that they will release a new trailer and a new demo update on April 10.

Featuring hand-drawn animation visuals, a dual-protagonist system, and unique ghost-hunting gameplay, this title is quickly gaining word-of-mouth popularity as it combines humor, horror, and emotional storytelling centered around X (formerly Twitter), receiving a positive response.

Story and gameplay both expanded… Revealed on April 10

In the upcoming April 10 update, the demo, which was previously centered around Chapter 1, will be expanded, and a richer story and gameplay sections are expected to be added.

New events utilizing the dual protagonist system and ghost hunting content will be enhanced, and the narratives surrounding the urban legends of ‘Riverrun’ and ‘Soul Squatters’ are set to deepen. The development team also mentioned plans to improve the overall quality by incorporating feedback from existing demo users.
