Soonchunhyang University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation is conducting the 2026 Content Creative Talent Partnership Project Co-Create AI: AI-based Game Development Mentoring Program together with domestic game experts.
This event, held as part of the ‘Level Up Together’ program conducted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Content Agency, is designed to help develop game content using artificial intelligence (AI) for approximately seven months from April to November.
Through this support project, Soonchunhyang University’s Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation plans to provide professional mentoring in the fields of planning, art, and programming, level up development skills for AI-based step-by-step education, and offer specialized programs such as AI Game Jams and BIC Festival exhibitions.
Interested aspiring creators can apply in the fields of game planning, game graphics, and game programming. Applicants must submit the basic application form via Google Forms by 2:00 PM on April 15, along with one copy each of the Creative Trainee Participation Application, self-introduction, eligibility verification, pledge, and personal information consent form, and a portfolio. Only individuals aged 19 to 34 are eligible to apply.
The Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation will select 10 finalists for the planning part, 6 for the art part, and 6 for the programming part. The selected aspiring creators will receive 1.5 million won per month in support and learn the AI game development process. In particular, they will receive data-based project milestone management, commercialization support for the BIC Festival 2026, AI-based high-quality 3D resource production processes, and cloud-based performance verification and self-assessment reports.
An official from Soonchunhyang University’s Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation stated, “We plan to hold an event this year that combines specialized AI technology with top experts to provide direct assistance to aspiring creators in employment or entrepreneurship,” adding, “We ask for your active participation in this AI-based game development mentoring program.”
