‘Windrose’ is an open-world survival crafting game set against the backdrop of a vast ocean in a fictional history. Players take on the role of a pirate captain, exploring unknown islands, collecting resources, and establishing settlements, while leading various ships into naval battles. The game has garnered significant attention even before its launch, surpassing 1.5 million global pre-registrations.

The recently released gameplay video introduced content for exploring diverse ecosystems, along with core systems centered on construction, crafting, and survival. In particular, naval battles taking place on the open sea and large-scale boss battles were revealed, highlighting the game’s core fun.

‘Windrose’ features a seamless gameplay environment that allows players to freely move between land and sea. Players can enjoy naval battles in various ways, such as exchanging cannon fire from a distance or approaching enemy ships to engage in close-quarters combat. Players can experience strategic naval combat by customizing three types of ships—the Catch, Bridget, and Bridget—to suit their play style and commanding their crews.

An action-oriented combat system has also been implemented. You can utilize a variety of equipment, ranging from melee weapons such as sabers, rapiers, and halberds to firearms such as pistols and muskets, and the combat style is characterized by parrying and dodging.

Exploration and settlement construction are also key pillars of the game. Players can gather resources in regions with distinct ecosystems and freely construct various structures, ranging from shelters to large fortresses. Content is also provided to develop settlements by exploring over 100 handcrafted dungeons and recruiting NPCs.

‘Windrose’ is scheduled to be released simultaneously worldwide via global game platforms, including Stove, in Early Access. The Stove game page will be unveiled on the 17th, and further details, such as the release schedule, will be announced later.
