The Witcher universe reinterpreted with Reigns’ unique swipe system
Thousands of branching storylines and minigame battles… Feature key characters like Yennefer and Triss

Reigns: The Witcher, a new game created in collaboration between global indie game publisher Devolver Digital , developer Nerial , and CD Projekt Red , has been officially released for PC and mobile platforms.

‘Reigns: The Witcher’ is a spin-off title based on the multi-million-selling ‘Reigns’ series system from Neriel. It reinterprets the Witcher universe, particularly represented by The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, with a signature dark fantasy sensibility.

Gamers will follow the journey of monster hunter Geralt of Rivia. However, the story is reimagined through the eyes of his longtime friend, the bard Dandelion. Every choice the protagonist makes becomes a song, and even the smallest mistake is reborn into an exaggerated narrative. Tales of heroism, comedy, and near-disaster are all interpreted by Dandelion, becoming new legends.

The game inherits the swipe-based selection system that is the core of the “Reigns” series. Amidst a variety of events, including contract execution, political intrigue, angry villagers, and a hot-tempered wizard, the player’s choices will have ramifications across the continent.

A simple gesture can earn you the trust of a noble, incur the wrath of a group of wizards, or lead to you being surrounded by monsters in the swamp. Along the way, you’ll experience thousands of branching storylines.

The journey also features iconic characters from the series, including Yennefer, Triss, and Vesemir. However, as the story is interpreted by Dandelion, even ordinary events are exaggerated into grand epics or reborn as exaggerated catastrophes.

The game also features a branching narrative structure and simple combat minigames. Geralt continues his witcher journey by battling various monsters, including drowned corpses and rotten fiends.

The protagonist travels across the continent, from taverns to remote villages, expanding Dandelion’s repertoire. Familiar stories can be given new twists or lead to entirely different endings. Whether the story becomes a heroic tale or a farcical one is entirely up to the player’s choice.

‘Reigns: The Witcher’ is available now on PC and mobile, and supports Korean language support. The release price is 6,700 won. More information can be found on the official website and through the official Devolver Digital X (@devolverkr).
