Webzen (CEO Kim Tae-young) is preparing for an official launch in the first half of this year, with the indie game ‘Lemore: Infested Kingdom’ changing its name to ‘Memories: Forsaken by Light (hereinafter referred to as Memories)’.

Memories is an indie game published by Webzen and developed by Korean game developer Black Anchor (CEO Jeong Geuk-min). A turn-based strategy RPG that focuses on meticulous strategy, it has been available in Early Access on Steam and Epic Games since October 2023.

Memories has undergone several updates over the past two years based on feedback from Early Access participants, improving the overall gameplay.

The game name ‘MEMOLITH: Forsaken by Light’ contains the direction of the game that has changed over the course of updates.

‘Memories’ are a key element in the game’s world, and gamers form an expedition and embark on an exploration to recover ‘Memories’, which have lost their mysterious light in a corrupted city.

The official release version, which will be released in the first half of this year along with a new game name, will include various contents that allow for the implementation of high-freedom strategies.

Gamers can develop their own expedition team by combining characters with different characteristics and 130 types of ‘Memory Fragments’, skills, and weapons, and can form a three-person expedition team from among many options to explore over 80 regions.

The newly changed game name will be sequentially applied to the Early Access page in accordance with the regulations of each distribution platform, and more detailed information can be found on the official Discord channel (https://discord.com/invite/jQCVRgzgtB).
