Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency will host ‘Game-Playground’, an urban experiential exhibition that will directly introduce the content of excellent local game companies to citizens , from November 29 to December 14 on the first basement floor of Podium Dive M (96 Gwangnam-ro, Suyeong-gu).

This exhibition is a pop-up exhibition designed so that both citizens and tourists can easily visit and experience local games, providing an opportunity to experience local games more closely in everyday life.

This year, six Busan game companies will participate in the exhibition, presenting diverse works of different genres and styles. Participating companies and game names are ▲Two Hands Interactive, ▲Gemsters , ▲Kkangtoh Studio , ▲Magic Cube , ▲C Play , ▲Oddball Games .

During the exhibition, various programs will be held in which visitors can participate. These include the “Stamp Tour,” where visitors can experience exhibition games and collect stamps to enter prize draws; the “Special Game Event,” where visitors can focus on a specific game; and the “Review Participation Event,” where visitors who post a review of their exhibition experience on social media with a designated hashtag will be entered into a drawing for a gift card.

Kim Tae-yeol, director of the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, said, “I hope that this exhibition will serve as an opportunity for Busan game content to naturally permeate the daily lives of citizens.” He added, “We will continue to provide various support to strengthen the competitiveness of local developers and work to establish a new urban culture based on games.”

The Busan Global Game Center, operated by the Promotion Agency, supports the competitiveness and sustainable growth of local game companies through various programs ranging from startup incubation to production, marketing, and overseas expansion, and this exhibition is also being promoted as part of this effort.
