Busan City (Mayor Park Hyung-jun) announced that the largest game exhibition in Korea, “G-STAR 2025” (hereinafter referred to as G-STAR), will be held for four days from tomorrow (the 13th) to the 16th at BEXCO and other venues.

This event is an international game exhibition where global game industry professionals and fans gather to experience new games and share the latest game industry trends. It is hosted by the Korea Game Industry Association (Chairman Young-ki Cho) and organized by the G-Star Organizing Committee and the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency.

This year, ‘G-Star’, with the slogan ‘Expand Your Horizons’, has significantly expanded the participation of major domestic game companies, large overseas game companies, and domestic and foreign indie game developers.

The event consists of ▲game exhibition ▲business consultation ▲international game conference (G-CON) ▲indie game preview (showcase) ▲G-Star Cup 2025 ▲G-Star Game Cosplay Awards Ceremony.

This year, NCSoft, which is the main sponsor of G-Star for the first time, will set up a large exhibition experience center in BEXCO Hall 1, and global companies such as Blizzard Entertainment, which is returning to G-Star after 12 years, Sega, Atlus, Bandai Namco Entertainment, and Warhorse Studios will be participating in large numbers.

The exhibition will be held with a total of 1,273 game companies from 44 countries and 3,269 exhibition spaces (booths).

[Exhibition Hall 1] Major game companies such as NCSoft, Netmarble, Krafton, Google Korea, Webzen, and Gravity will participate, and [Exhibition Hall 2] The ‘G-Star Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy’ exhibition space, where major overseas game companies and the largest number of indie game companies ever will participate, and a special G-Star TV stage will be set up.

Additionally, various side events such as ▲’International Game Conference (G-CON)’ ▲’G-Star Cup 2025′ and ▲’Game Cosplay Awards’ are also prepared.

Busan Mayor Park Hyung-joon said, “G-Star is not only a game festival representing Korea, but is also establishing itself as a global industry platform that communicates with the world,” and added, “We will focus all of the city’s capabilities to ensure that domestic and international game industry officials and citizens visiting Busan for G-Star can safely participate in and enjoy the event.”

Meanwhile, the city and the Korea Game Industry Association will establish a cooperative system with relevant organizations, including the police and fire department, to ensure the safe operation of the event. Furthermore, to ease crowding, admission times will be divided into Part 1 (10:00 AM) and Part 2 (12:00 PM). Furthermore, advance online ticket sales will be 100% available, eliminating on-site reservations.
