The Game Talent Center, operated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister Choi Hwi-young) and the Korea Creative Content Agency (Acting President Yoo Hyeon-seok, hereinafter referred to as KOCCA), will participate in ‘G-STAR 2025’ held at BEXCO in Busan from November 13 to 16 and showcase a total of 10 works, including 7 graduation projects and 3 mini-projects developed by students.

The Game Talent Institute is a specialized educational institution dedicated to nurturing leaders in the Korean game industry. It offers a hands-on, integrated curriculum encompassing planning, design, and programming. Students gain hands-on experience in real-world development environments, honing their collaborative skills. They also gain industry-specific skills by experiencing the entire process, from planning to launch.

◆ G-Star 2025, 10 Game Talent Institute Graduation and Mini-Project Projects Exhibited

The Game Talent Center exhibition hall will showcase 10 works that encompass various genres and worldviews. Seven graduation projects, including ▲After the Curtain Call ▲F-Class Hunter Survival Story ▲Vanishing Ground ▲Omega: Protocol ▲Exorcism ▲LOG:OUT ▲Kori & Travelers, and three mini projects, ▲Daehwanjang Games ▲Shotgun Princess ▲Re:BELLION, will be on display.

In particular, “Chukgui” is a shamanic horror game set on an abandoned island, featuring unique interaction utilizing voice control. The game garnered attention as a selection for the “2025 Tokyo Game Show Indie 80” and an exhibit at the “2025 Osaka Indie Game Summit.”

“Daehwanjang Games” won the Excellence in Experimental Award at the 2024 Busan Indie Connect Festival (BIC). In this comical reporting game, players assume the role of a quality assurance tester (QA tester) who intentionally finds errors (bugs) and has fun doing it.

‘Shotgun Princess’ is an original action game in which a princess in a wheelchair breaks through a dungeon made up of everyday objects. It was selected as the Public Pick winner at the ‘2025 Busan Indie Connect Festival (BIC)’ in recognition of both its social message and gameplay.

In addition to the game exhibition, G-Star will also feature a Game Talent Center consultation booth. Anyone interested in game development can receive direct consultation on the center’s practical curriculum.

KOCCA Director Kim Nam-geol said, “Through participating in G-Star 2025, students have a valuable opportunity to showcase their work to game industry professionals and the public,” and “KOCCA will continue to support students so that they can grow to the next level through the process of developing and presenting games themselves.”
