Longplay Studio (CEO Shin In-geon) announced that it released the first DLC ‘Last Escape’ for its turn-based roguelike survival game ‘Terminus: Zombie Survivors’ on Steam on the 12th.
This DLC takes place after the main game’s final destination, offering over 10 hours of gameplay with new locations, characters, and endings. While maintaining the thrill of the main game’s turn-based combat and resource management, it broadens the challenges players face through interactions with terminal survivor NPCs and a variety of missions.
New areas, “Terminal Station Interior” and “Platform,” have been added. The terminal station, once considered a safe haven, is revealed to be no longer a safe haven. Amidst food and resource shortages and an increasingly intensifying zombie threat, another survival battle unfolds.
Sixteen new survivor NPCs also appear. Each NPC has a unique background and can be trusted through individual quests and interactions. As trust builds, they will offer assistance within the community or provide special rewards, significantly impacting the player’s survival strategy.
The new ending, “Escape the Train,” is the centerpiece of this DLC. Players must repair the destroyed train, defend the station, and fend off hordes of zombies until the train is restored. This ending, which requires all preparations and conditions to be met, is designed as a final challenge distinct from the main game.
Terminus: Zombie Survivors has been consistently loved by global indie survival game fans since its official release in August 2024, selling over 100,000 copies worldwide, receiving a ‘Very Positive’ (94%) Steam user review, and winning the Indie Game Award at the 2024 Korea Game Awards.
The main game is currently being sold on Steam for 19,900 won, and the DLC ‘Last Escape’ is being sold for 9,900 won. There is a 30% discount on the main game and 10% discount on the DLC available until September 25th.
