Neowiz announced on the 12th that it would submit ‘Hello Seoul: Itaewon,’ a narrative-focused puzzle adventure game currently in development by Gino Games, to the Busan Indie Connect Festival 2024 (BIC Festival 2024, from now on referred to as BIC Festival 2024).
The ‘BIC Festival 2024’, a global indie game festival held annually in Busan, will be held at BEXCO for three days from August 16th to 18th. This year marks its 10th anniversary. It is an event where you can see unique indie games from home and abroad, and its purpose is to discover and foster excellent indie games. The online exhibition will be held until August 30th.
‘Hello Seoul: Itaewon’ will be shown at a separate booth in the first exhibition hall of the BIC Festival 2024. Visitors can also experience the demo version of the game on-site. The game also supports online play.
‘Hello Seoul: Itaewon’ boasts a unique yet solid narrative that unfolds in a post-apocalyptic world. It features the thrill of 2D side-scrolling action, a devastated Itaewon city center, and gorgeous neon signs and dot graphics. It is scheduled to be released on Steam Early Access in November.
Meanwhile, ‘Hello Seoul: Itaewon’ is also preparing to meet with global users. It will participate in ‘Gamescom 2024’ held in Germany in August. The game will be exhibited at the ‘Indie Arena Booth’ in the IAB Hall within the event venue.
