Neowiz announced on the 29th that its popular indie game SANABI won the ‘Best Action Adventure Game’ award at China’s’ 2024 Indie Game Development Awards’.
The ‘2024 Indie Game Development Awards’ is an awards ceremony held on the 27th by China’s largest game show, ‘China Joy 2024,’ and ‘Game Connection’ at the New International Expo Center in Shanghai, China. Excellent games were selected in 15 categories.
‘Sannabi’ was recognized for its originality and game quality, including a secret story unfolding on a journey to avenge a daughter, a tear-jerking ending, and spectacular chain-arm action.
“We were able to win a meaningful award thanks to the interest and love we received from users,” said Yoo Seung-hyun, CEO of Wonder Potion, the developer of ‘SANABI.’ He added, “We will not lose our original intention and will continue to create better games in the future.”
Meanwhile, Neowiz’s stance is that it will continue to target the global game market with its popular indie games. ‘Hello Seoul: Itaewon’, which has been highly anticipated even before its release, will participate in ‘Gamescom 2024’ in Germany in August. The game will be displayed at the Indie Arena booth at the event.
