○ Signing business agreements with Taiwanese, Japanese, and Singaporean game organizations and organizing committees at Play Expo

The Gyeonggi Content Agency (President Yong-Seok Tak, hereinafter referred to as Gyeonggi Content Agency) held a business agreement (MOU) signing ceremony at the ‘2025 Global Alliance Asia’ meeting during the 2025 Play Expo held at KINTEX in Goyang on Thursday, May 22, and officially established a global game network cooperation system with major Asian game industry organizations and organizing committees.

This agreement was made with the goal of joint development of the Asian game industry and revitalizing exchanges between content companies, and a total of four major organizations and exhibition organizing committees from Taiwan, Japan, and Singapore each participated in the agreement with KCONJIN. The organizations and committees that participated in the agreement are ▲Taipei Computer Association (TCA) ▲G-EIGHT ▲Tokyo Indie Game Summit (TIGS) ▲Singapore Game Industry Association (SGGA).

Taipei Computer Association and Singapore Game Industry Association signed an agreement between institutions to support the growth of content companies in both countries and to jointly develop the ICT, game, and content industries, while G8 and the Tokyo Indie Game Summit organizing committees promised to promote cooperation between global game fairs. The agreement signing ceremony was held in the VIP room of Hall 5 of KINTEX, and game industry officials from Asian countries such as Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, and China attended the meeting to discuss the future of the game industry and global collaboration plans.

Key figures in attendance included ▲ Taipei Computer Association Secretary General Jesse WU, ▲ G8 Co-CEO Thomas CHANG, ▲ Tokyo Indie Game Summit Manager Yudai NOZAKI, ▲ Singapore Game Industry Association Executive Director Zitian ZHANG, as well as ▲ Tokyo Game Show Secretary General Taiyo TANABE, and ▲ ChinaJoy Vice President Nick YU, representing the Asian game industry, who attended to broaden the scope of exchanges.

Kyungkonjin CEO Tak Yong-seok said, “The establishment of this Global Alliance Asia will serve as a bridgehead for the Gyeonggi-do content industry to advance into the global market,” and added, “In the future, we will expand the industrial network foundation that will enable local companies to continue to grow by expanding global partnerships in various content fields, not just games.”

Based on this agreement, Kyungconjin plans to develop a practical collaboration model, such as a regular communication system and the discovery of follow-up related projects, through cooperation with game organizations in each country.
