– ‘Punkland’ unveils solo developer Mo Yongbulkhuk’s new RPG ‘Freeworld.’
– High-quality visual completion by implementing character appearance and motion using Spine technology
– Differentiated with a stance system that increases freedom of combat style and strategy
Supercat (CEO Kim Young-eul) announced on the 30th that it had launched a new RPG, ‘Freeworld,’ through its indie game platform ‘PUNKLAND’.
‘Freeworld’ is the work of ‘Moyongbulhok,’ a one-man indie game developer who has been active in ‘Punkland’ since 2019. A total of 8 games were produced and serviced over four years, including ‘Chilsaenggi,’ ‘Saengsaengmoorim,’ and ‘Freelance: Pioneer Mercenaries,’ and many of the games succeeded in entering the top ranks of popular games in ‘Punkland.’
‘Freeworld,’ released this time, is a fantasy RPG with the motif of freedom, and contains an adventure story unfolding on the Embranth continent. By using the spine system, the character’s appearance was improved, and motion actions were implemented in detail, making it fun to watch.
Users select one of the following races: Human, Amazon, Giant, or Dwarf, and begin exploring the open-world continent. You can enjoy various content in your way, including a world map with hundreds of items, raids, PvP, housing, gathering, and farms. The fun of growth was also emphasized with a system that allows you to develop not only characters but also races, stances, and emblems.
In addition, we sought to differentiate ourselves with a stance system that increases freedom of combat style and strategy. There are over 40 stances, each with different skills and abilities, and can be changed at any time to suit the battle situation. One representative stance and four auxiliary stances can be placed for each character.
The new game ‘Freeworld,’ created with the no-coding game development tool ‘Punkland Studio,’ can be played through the ‘Punkland‘ mobile app and PC web.
