OP.GG announced that it would carry out the ‘SBA X OP.GG’ game content marketing support program to discover new marketing platforms for game companies in cooperation with the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (SBA).

With this program, OP.GG provides a platform for users to experience its games for Seoul Economic Promotion Agency and Seoul-based game companies, establishing a virtuous cycle structure within the game industry and making new attempts for shared growth.

‘SBA X OP.GG’ will provide a trial version through the OP.GG desktop app so that growing domestic game companies can introduce their games to more people and game content through simple play and game download page links. It will lead to practical game promotion support, such as purchase and play linkage.

Game companies that want to participate in the program can apply through the website of the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (sba.kr) until June 19th. The five selected companies will be given the opportunity to showcase their game experience version on the OP.GG desktop app for about six weeks from July to August, when middle and high school students are on vacation. The trial version of the indie game ‘Alpo: Way Home’ is provided by OP.GG through the OP.GG desktop app in February not only received a positive response from users but also helped promote the game domestically and internationally.

Lee Kang-eun, head of OP.GG’s business strategy cell, said, “I am delighted to be able to present a meaningful program together with the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency that can provide a stepping stone for domestic game companies to grow one step further.” We will continue to support the program’s growth and ask for your interest in this program.”

More information on ‘SBA × OP.GG Game Contents Marketing Support’ can be found in the Corporate Support and Seoul Business Notices menu on the website of the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency.
