The organizers plan to provide a prize of 8 million won along with the Gyeonggi Content Agency Director Award by newly establishing ▲ TOP2 in the unreleased category and ▲ a special metaverse prize in the ‘BEX Awards’, which selects excellent games from among the game show participation.

The ‘BEX Awards’ is a total of 12 games in 6 categories: ▲Top3 in the released category, ▲Top2 in the unreleased category, ▲Metaverse Special Award, ▲Judges Award, ▲Encouragement Award, and ▲Popularity Award by adding up the judges’ evaluation and the votes of the audience. A total of 16 million won will be awarded to the selected participants.

‘BEX 2022’ is a festival to support the promotion of indie game companies, and Kyungconjin has been participating in co-organization with Neowiz since 2020.

This year, in addition to Gyeonggi-do and Seoul, the main sponsors, Google Play Indie Festival, Twitch, Megazone Cloud, Inven, Ruri Web, and Iron Source participate as sponsors, raising expectations as the scale has expanded more than in previous years.

‘BEX 2022’ will be held for a week from August 11 to 17, and indie game developers wishing to participate can apply online on the official application page .

Individual developers or developers aged 14 or older who develop indie games can apply for free regardless of platform such as PC or mobile. The application period is open until 5 p.m. on July 5.

During the event, game users can directly experience various genres and original indie games and enjoy the latest game videos through the online page.
