The Korea Artificial Intelligence Game Association will host a special game IP pop-up store at the plaza on the second basement floor of Lotte Department Store Centum City during G-STAR from Monday, November 10th to Sunday, November 16th, 2025. This event will showcase a variety of content and merchandise based on game IP and is designed to support the growth of indie game developers.

Pop-up stores are exhibition and sales events where indie game developers and creators can directly introduce and sell content and merchandise based on their game IPs to consumers. Located near BEXCO, where G-Star is held, these stores are expected to attract a natural influx of visitors and are expected to contribute to generating additional revenue by leveraging game IPs.

In particular, this event is expected to be an important step toward sustainable growth in the gaming industry, as it plans to expand its positive influence by donating a portion of the proceeds from merchandise sales to support indie developers beyond simple sales.

This pop-up store will feature a diverse selection of goods and content sure to captivate subculture fandoms, with renowned game companies like Daewon Media (Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest), Kuro Games (Mingjo), and Nimble Neuron (Eternal Return) participating. Additionally, approximately 20 indie game developers will showcase their unique creative content.

Song Chang-ho, president of the Korea Artificial Intelligence Game Association, said, “This pop-up store will be a valuable opportunity for indie game developers to meet and communicate directly with consumers,” and added, “We expect that it will not only increase sales for participating companies, but also realize social value.”

Currently, the Korea Artificial Intelligence Game Association announced that it is recruiting companies and teams to participate in the pop-up store through the Indie Cafe operated by the association.
