Smilegate Orange Planet Startup Foundation (hereafter referred to as ‘Orange Planet’, Center Director Sangbong Seo) announced on the 14th (Wednesday) that regular recruitment for the second half of 2023 will be held until the 7th of next month.

The regular recruitment in the second half of this year is for start-ups, such as preliminary start-up teams and early start-up teams composed of two or more people. Teams wishing to participate can submit an application on the Orange Planet website.

Through this regular recruitment, Orange Planet plans to select up to 19 teams, including 15 teams to participate in the ‘Orange Garden’ program and 4 teams to participate in the ‘Orange Farm program. Orange Garden, an Orange Planet start-up support program, targets prospective entrepreneurs and teams that need support for early business models, while Orange Farm targets teams that need to advance business in earnest while attracting initial investment.

When participating in Orange Garden, office space support for 6 months, 1:1 close coaching by experts in each field, and workshops for business stage advancement are provided. In addition, if you receive an excellent evaluation, you can receive an investment review opportunity and commercialization support. When participating in Orange Farm, office space support for 12 months, investment ranging from 50 million won to up to 200 million won, VC (Venture Capital) mentoring to attract follow-up investment, and investment opportunities linked to TIPS (Private Investment-led Technology Startup Support), etc. are provided.

Meanwhile, Orange Planet was selected as an operating institution for the ‘Try Everything’ joint cooperation program conducted by the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (SBA). During this regular recruitment selection process, the program will be supported.

“Regular recruitment in the second half of this year is meaningful in supporting customized programs for startups that are in the stage of business advancement from the time of establishment,” said Sang-bong Seo, head of the Orange Planet Center. I ask for much interest and support from the team I want to play.”
