• Parkour action adventure that entered the top 200 on the Steam Wishlist
  • Chainsaw action continuing the Prince of Persia lineage, launching simultaneously on PS5, Xbox, and PC

Regular Studio, an indie studio founded by two Brazilian brothers, announced that it will simultaneously release ‘MOTORSLICE,’ a parkour action adventure inspired by animation and retro culture, on PC (Steam and GOG), PlayStation 5, and Xbox platforms in May 2026.

This game, which garnered intense interest even before its release by ranking in the top 200 on the Steam Wishlist, features a girl named P with the title of ‘Slicer’ who infiltrates a giant megastructure, climbs to the top, and destroys all the machines.

A simple mission, but an unexpected threat

The mission assigned to the protagonist, P, is simple: to be deployed into a vast and desolate environment, destroy all the machines, and return alive. However, upon arriving at the abandoned Megastructure, P discovers an unexpected, massive, and threatening machine and instinctively realizes that this is by no means an ordinary task.

P navigates the ruins with the broken auxiliary drone ‘Orbie’, utilizing agile movements and skills to face increasingly dangerous situations.

Fluid parkour, chainsaw combat, and action involving climbing giant bosses

The game is inspired by ‘Prince of Persia’, ‘Mirror’s Edge’, and ‘Shadow of the Colossus’. Players run, climb, and slide through ruins while engaging in fast-paced combat.

In particular, the epic boss battles, where you climb and destroy a giant mechanical boss using a chainsaw, are a key element. Additionally, puzzle sections utilizing physics-based objects are placed throughout the game to add variety to the flow of the gameplay, which was previously dominated by combat.

Amidst intense battles, a ‘Slice of Life’-style narrative capturing P’s daily routines and inner thoughts intersects. As repetitive daily routines and reflections are added within the megastructure, hardcore action and subtle sensibility achieve a unique balance.

A combination of pixel-style low-poly graphics and the DNB soundtrack

In terms of visuals, it adopts low-poly graphics with a pixelated aesthetic. The massive structures create a spectacular scene of sand-covered buildings and intertwined steel frames, while the protagonist P stands out with intense colors.

The protagonist P’s emotions are naturally conveyed through delicate facial expressions, such as furrowing brows and being lost in thought even when standing still, not just when moving along walls or defeating robots. The game also features selfie and pose camera functions, providing the fun of capturing scenes created by the player in photos.

The soundtrack was composed by artist Pizza Hotline. Based on Drum and Bass (DnB) and jungle-style music, it effectively supports the game’s rhythm, which alternates between fast-paced action and quiet exploration sections. By alternating dynamic parkour scenes with tranquil exploration areas, it creates a unique sense of rhythm and narrative tension.

P, featuring the voice of voice actress Kira Bland, draws attention with the release of the IGN feature.

P’s story was produced with full voice recording, and P’s voice was provided by Kira Buckland, a voice actor well known for works such as ‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’, ‘NieR: Automata’, and ‘Demon Slayer’.

A preview video of about 10 minutes released through IGN attracted attention by introducing character relationships, the combat system, and parts of the worldview in advance.

Regular Studio, a Brazilian indie developer founded by a brother duo

Regular Studio is a small indie studio formed by two brothers, Lucas and Luiz. Their first work was ‘Togges,’ a charming 3D puzzle platformer based on stacking cubes, and ‘Motor Slice’ is their second game.

Overseas media outlets have been giving positive reviews since the demo stage. They highly praised the polish of the platformer, which combines parkour, combat, and direction, and noted that the soundtrack fits the game well.

In the Steam community, positive reviews regarding the unique visuals, atmosphere, and character design continue, and the number of items on wishlists is also steadily increasing.
