Smilegate Future Lab Foundation announced on November 5 that a total of 287 indie games will be exhibited at the Beaver Rocks 2025 Indie Game & Culture Festival. The event will feature 82 offline and 205 online-exclusive titles, selected based on creativity, technical completeness, and immersive gameplay.
This year’s lineup spans a wide range of genres, including adventure, puzzle, action, shooting, RPG, and roguelike, showcasing the diversity of Korea’s indie development scene.
Notable Domestic and International Participants
Among the standout entries are:
- Team Tapas’ The Witch’s Garden, winner of the Indie Game Award at the Korea Game Awards and a graduate of the Smilegate Membership program.
- Lifuel’s side-scrolling action game Obis Loop.
- Pepper Stones’ strategic simulation Hips N Noses.
- Solo developer Zniq’s rhythmic action title Finger Dance.
International participation has grown significantly, with 36 overseas titles joining the lineup — up from just three last year. Highlights include A Tiny Wander by Japan’s Doukutsu Penguin Club, a heartwarming adventure, and Yolk Heroes, an idle RPG about raising elf heroes.
Exhibition Schedule and Access
The 82 offline titles will be featured at the Beaver Rocks 2025 main event, taking place December 5–7 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul.
Meanwhile, all 287 games — including 205 online-exclusive titles — will be available for free play from December 1–14 through a dedicated showcase on Smilegate’s STOVE platform.
