Longplay Studio (CEO Shin In-geon) announced on the 12th that it has released the 1.1 NPC update for its turn-based roguelike survival game, “Terminus: Zombie Survivors.”
This marks the first major content expansion since the game’s official launch, introducing hostile survivor NPCs, an improved combat system, and a companion automation feature, further enhancing players’ survival strategies and immersion.
New Hostile NPCs and Expanded Survival Mechanics
With this update, players must now contend not only with zombies but also with hostile survivors. The introduction of bandits and pickpockets adds new threats to the survival experience. Conversely, players will have opportunities to help survivors in need by providing food or clothing, making in-game choices even more critical.
Improved Combat System and Companion AI Automation
The combat system has been significantly upgraded. Players can now engage in direct combat with survivor NPCs and even raid fortified houses to secure valuable resources. Additionally, the new AI automation system for companions allows allies to move, explore, craft, and fight autonomously, creating a more dynamic and immersive survival experience.
Other notable improvements include:
- New weapon attack types
- A regular NPC respawn system
- A sandbox mode option to adjust survivor spawn rates
A Critically Acclaimed Survival Roguelike
“Terminus: Zombie Survivors” is a turn-based survival roguelike that combines combat, resource management, and exploration. Players must navigate a zombie-infested city, scavenge limited resources, and make crucial survival decisions.
Since its official Steam launch in August 2024, the game has sold over 100,000 copies and continues to receive overwhelmingly positive reviews, maintaining a 94% “Very Positive” rating from global players.
